ABOUT US

Barton United Football Club is a family-oriented, community-based football club with a proud legacy of inclusivity and growth. Initially founded as Narre Warren South Soccer Club—later known as Narre Warren City FC—the club’s purpose was to engage and integrate newly immigrated families and youth through the universal language of football. Over the years, we have evolved into a vibrant, multicultural hub open to all.

Today, Barton United offers teams across all age groups, starting from Under 5s up to our Senior Men’s State 5 team and Senior Women’s State 1 team. Our thriving juniors football academy, led by an accredited coach with international playing experience and coaching credentials, trains a number of talented young players dedicated to reaching their potential. From Under 10s to our senior squads, Barton United’s programs are brimming with passion, skill, and community spirit.

At the Barton Recreation Reserve in Cranbourne West, our state-of-the-art facilities include multiple changing rooms, a canteen, storage areas, an electronic scoreboard, three full-sized pitches, and stadium lighting for training and games.

Our philosophy centers on inclusivity and “a fair go,” with a not-for-profit approach that keeps fees as low as possible to reduce barriers to participation. We rely on a dedicated network of volunteers, sponsorships, canteen sales, and membership fees to sustain our mission and serve our local youth and football communities.

Whether you or your child are new to football or experienced in the game, we invite you to become part of our “Football Family” at Barton United FC.
